Lincoln’s IP Certificate is our most flexible program yet. There are no degree requirements, no legal background needed, and at 10 units designed to be taken in one year, it is our most efficient path to becoming an IP specialist. Students choose to focus either on patents or soft IP (copyrights, trademarks, and trade secrets) and the program is completed with either hands-on USPTO experience through the Lincoln IP Clinic or via development of a capstone thesis project to be published in a law journal.
Like what you learn? Add another year of general legal education, and you can receive your IP Masters of Legal Studies from Lincoln as well.
